Offshore Container according to DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079
Since 2007, we successfully built Offshore Container. Back then, we were one of the first companies
to venture this step. Offshore Containers are designed to withstand the harsh sea conditions and to go through loading processes without damages, as far as possible. The loading at sea surface, is permitted
up to a maximum wave height of 6 m and must be carried out only with a certified lifting gear.
The maximum total weight of an offshore container must not exceed 25,000 kg.
Structurally, the Offshore Containers differ significantly from standard ISO containers. They consist
Of a solid primary frame, have offshore lifting eyes and the wall thicknesses of the profiles are min.
4 mm or 6 mm thick.
The dimensions of the container are freely selectable and can be customized according to customer’s wishes. The construction can be designed open or closed.
The essential point in the construction of offshore containers is the quality,
which we ensure through extensive checks.
All primary welds on our containers must comply with the rating group B according to DIN EN ISO 5817
and are examined by non-destructive material testing for errors.
Our welders are certified according to EN ISO 9606 / DIN 287.
We guarantee the traceability of the materials used, among other things by its own employees with stamping authorization given by the Germanischen Lloyd.
We can coat our container in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944 – Corrosivity C5M or NORSOK M501
and supply in almost any color you want.
Our supply portfolio also includes the testing of containers by DNV 2.7-1. An important part of our scope
of delivery is the documentation, where we gather and supply all documents for customers.
